DROID RAZR Test Unit Up for Bid on eBay, is It Unlockable Though?

A DROID RAZR test unit has appeared up for bid on eBay yesterday and you can imagine the excitement it caused in the dev community. Could this be an unlockable device? Many test units are, but since the seller claims to have no knowledge of “how unlocking works,” there is no guarantee that it will be. They also claim that this was a phone given to Motorola employees for “engineering” and software testing purposes, so who knows. If it is, could it be the device that would provide devs the tools to unlock them all? Only bidding, winning and digging will get you that answer.
