When I reviewed one of the first Google smart displays, the Lenovo Smart Display, one of my big takeaway was that these devices were going to be great mini TVs and media consumption devices that could be put in any room. Because they fit nicely onto a desk or in the kitchen, they made being able to stream a TV service to them super easy.
Today, Sling TV announced that their streaming TV plans are now available on Google’s Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max. That means you can play Sling TV on both of those devices, control it by voice, or Cast it anywhere by talking to a Nest Hub or Max. You could say things like “Hey Google, watch HGTV on Sling” or “skip forward 10 seconds” or “pause.” You get the idea.
Sling TV offers a couple of different channel plans, both of which start at just $15 per month at the moment (normally $25), thanks to a 40% promo. They are also offering a free 3-day trial to new customers.
