Download: HTC Thunderbolt Boot Animation for DROID X and 2

Want some of the goodness that was found in the Thunderbolt RUU?  Then how about the boot animation running on your Droid X, Droid 2, or D2 Global?  The file should flash to any of those phones, including the R2-D2 version and will give you the full experience including sound.  While the sound on my DX does come out a little off, the animation is top notch and I can’t wait to actually get a hold of this phone.  Until then though, we’ll do our best to make your current device look and work like one.

Instructions:

1.  Download the file from above to your SD card.
2.  Reboot into recovery using Koush’s Bootstrap app.
3.  Choose “install zip from SD card.”
4.  Then “choose zip from SD card” and find the Thunderbolt.zip , select it and hit “yes.”
5.  Reboot and enjoy!
