Razer announced new Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds today that will compete with AirPods, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, and the rest of the already-available wireless buds in this booming category. These particular Hammerhead buds make bold claims about audio, yet only cost $99.99.
The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 for ultra-low latency connections that Razer says eliminates audio lag when you are watching movies or listening to music. There is a Gaming Mode too, that drops latency to 60ms when playing games. That Bluetooth 5.0 connection should also allow for super quick pairing.
They feature a 13mm driver with “beefy bass” for all audio needs, charge through USB-C in their case that provides up to 4 charges, and last up to 3-hours outside of that case. There are touch controls and assistant launching, IPX4 sweat and splash resistance, and a classic Razer matte black finish and branding. They look a lot like black AirPods, which is fun.
Razer Hammerhead True Wireless buds are available right now for $99.99.
