Samsung is hosting last minute holiday deals that include big discounts on the carrier models of the Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+, should you buy any from the Samsung store.
The Galaxy Note 9 (review) is $300 off right now if you choose the Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint models. The T-Mobile and US Cellular versions are $200 off. Samsung claims they are “instantly” discounted, but of course, you will need a payment plan to get the discount.
If you go with a Galaxy S9+ (review), you are looking at $250 off for Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, or $200 off for T-Mobile or US Cellular. The regular Galaxy S9 is $200 off from all carriers.
And remember, when you buy from Samsung, you should take advantage of their trade-in program. You can get up to an instant $300 off as you order, depending on the phone you swap. You’ll get $300 off for an S9, S9+, or Note 8, $250 off for an S8+, and $200 off for an S8. You can trade-in LG, Google, and Apple phones for discounts too. The instant discount is what makes that a good deal, though, since you get the price cut today and then ship them your trade-in later.
