Verizon Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note 9 Get Security Updates, LG G5 Gets Oreo (Update: Note 8, too!)

Security updates are rolling out to various Verizon devices, as well as one for Galaxy Note 9 owners on T-Mobile.

For Verizon, owners of Galaxy S9 (Version number: R16NW.G960USQS3ARI6), Galaxy S9+ (Version number: R16NW.G965USQS3ARI6, and Galaxy Note 9 (Version number: M1AJQ.N960USQS1ARH6) devices are receiving September’s security patch, while those with an LG G5 are getting updated to Oreo (Version number: VS98730a). Very nice.

Over on T-Mobile, anyone with a Galaxy Note 9 should also be seeing September’s security patch, labeled as version N960USQS1ARH6.

Update: Verizon’s Galaxy Note 8 is also receiving September’s security patch, labeled as R16NW.N950USQS5CRI4.
