Pandora announced today that is has made music sharing on Snapchat official for Android users, after the feature has been available to iOS users since last month.
Basically, let’s say you’re rocking out to a tune on Pandora and want to share it with one or all of your Snapchat friends. Simply share the song from Pandora to Snapchat (either directly or to a group of people), then those who receive the shared song will have access to it via Pandora.
Here is Pandora’s breakdown of what’s taking place.
Last month, Pandora teamed up with Snap as the first music streaming launch partner for Snap Kit to bring Snapchatters a new way to connect and express themselves through music. After rolling out to Pandora ad-supported and Plus listeners on iOS, the feature is now available to ad-supported and Plus listeners on Android.

Instructions
- When you’re listening to a song on the Pandora app you want to share, tap “Share” on the “Now Playing” screen.
- Select “Share on Snapchat”– each song will have a unique song card that celebrates the album artwork.
- Add the song card to your Story, share directly with a friend, or pass it along to a group of friends.
- Friends who view your Snap can swipe up and listen to the song on-demand on Pandora thanks to Pandora’s Premium Access feature.
