OnePlus 6 Could Have Looked so Cool in These Experimental Colors

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6 in Silk White, Midnight Black, and Mirror Black. The company is soon to release the Red version, too. What if OnePlus launched the phone in a pearlescent or differently colored matte finishes? Would you be more interested? We certainly would be!

PC Mag was recently at the company’s HQ in China and was shown many of the different experimental color options OnePlus was toying with when creating the device. We can see from the photo above and the video below that there were a lot of options to choose from. There are pinks, purples, greens, matte finishes, glossy finishes, and everything in between.

We know that many companies do this when creating their devices, but it’s not every day we, the consumers, get to see what might’ve been. You might hear us say this often, but we’re getting rather bored with just Black and White options. We want some color flare!
