Reported specifications for the HTC U12 have made their way to the web, with HTC looking to offer anything and everything you’d expect from a 2018 flagship smartphone.
According to LlabTooFeR, who shared the specs via Twitter, the U12, codenamed Imagine, will feature a 5.99″ QHD+ display, Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, dual rear-facing cameras (Sony sensors), IP68 certification, 3,420mAh battery, and full Treble support with Android 8.0 Oreo.
That’s quite the spec sheet, though, I don’t see mention of a top notch. Just kidding, that would be bad. If you’re interested in what the U12 may look like, we believe we got a look at it last month during a 5G industry event and you can view those photos here.
In the comments of this tweet, LlabTooFeR also mentions launch will be somewhere in April, and that for anyone hoping to see a 3.5mm headphone jack included, just forget it. According to them, “We all have to move on and leave behind it.”
Now all we need is for HTC to not forget about the US and launch this phone here.
