According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Samsung’s plan for 2018 is to unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in February, then launch it globally in March. If this is indeed what happens, it would be one of the earliest launches we’ve seen from Samsung.

Along with the timing, which comes from sources who are familiar with Samsung’s plan, the phones will be more of anĀ iterative update, aligning well with the CAD renders we posted up earlier this week. Besides a moving of the fingerprint reader, potential buyers can expect an updated camera system, as well as Snapdragon 845 processor.

Naturally, the source of this information that Samsung’s plan is always quite fluid and subject to change.

As for that CES tease report, it’s not looking likely, but at least we may not have to wait too long after to see what Samsung’s has in store for 2018 in the mobile department.
