Contest: Win 2 Tickets to the New York Film Festival, Courtesy of LG and Its Launch of the V30 (Update: Winner Chosen!)

We’ve partnered with LG to give away two tickets to their event at the New York Film Festival. As you may or may not know, LG is a sponsor of the festival, highlighting the company’s V30 smartphone with its legit dual rear-facing camera setup.

If you don’t already know, the V30 sports 16MP f/1.6 standard + 13MP f/1.9 wide-angle cameras, with LG really marketing this device as something that can compete with what we’d label as real cameras. Don’t believe me? Check out this video where a filmmaker puts the LG V30 up against a $50,000 RED Weapon camera and prepare to be shocked by the results.

Now, should you win this sweet prize, you’ll be treated to a night of cocktail parties, film screenings that were apparently shot on the V30 itself (neat!), as well as a keynote panel discussing the future of film and content creation. We’d be joining you in NYC ourselves, but our schedules won’t allow for it this time around.

Provided we’re talking about an event on a specific date at a specific place, we kindly ask that enterers of this contest live in or around New York City and are able to attend the event on October 13, 2017. There will be alcohol served, so we also ask that enterers be 21+ in age.

We will choose our winner on Monday, October 9 at 10AM Pacific. We will email our winner to confirm you are in the NYC area and are able to attend the event. LG will not be providing travel or sleep accommodations to the winner. Again, we ask that only people age 21+ enter, as there will be alcohol served at the event.
