Louis Vuitton is now in the Android Wear and smartwatch game with the introduction of the Tambour Horizon watch. The move shouldn’t be surprising, knowing that the brand falls under LVMH, which also houses TAG Heuer, another luxury goods maker who has seen some recent success in smartwatches. This Tambour Horizon watch is as you might expect, also very expensive.

There are steel options of the Tambour Horizon that start at $2,450, along with a black PVD version that costs $2,900.

In the specs department, you are looking at stainless steel brushed cases, stainless polished cases, or a stainless polished case with a black PVD coating. The watch is 42mm wide (nice!) and 12.55mm thick. It features sapphire glass on top of a 390×390 round AMOLED panel, 30m water resistance, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, and 22 hour battery life. Louis Vuitton is also introducing a swappable strap line-up with their patented system.

You can inquire about the watch now at LV’s site below.
