The Moto Z2 Play on Verizon has arrived this morning and it’s pretty reasonably priced. It’s also exclusive to Verizon at the moment, before landing at Motorola’s store later this summer in an unlocked capacity.
At just $408 full retail or $17 per month for 24 months, this new Z2 Play is a solid package. Not only do you get Moto Mods interaction, you get a decent set of specs too. Remember, this phone packs a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 626 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage with SD slot, 12MP f/1.7 camera, and a 3000mAh battery. You’ll Android 7.1.1 Nougat, headphone jack, and ridiculous slim metal body as well.
I’ve already unboxed this bad boy here and promise to have a review up very soon.
The Moto Z2 Play on Verizon is available in grey and black or gold and white.
NOTE: If you buy the Moto Z2 Play from Verizon, they are tossing in a free JBL SoundBoost 2 Moto Mod. That’s an $80 value freebie.
