Honor 6X Receiving Nougat and EMUI 5.0 Update Starting Today

A big time update for the Honor 6X is rolling out starting today, one that will bring the device up to Nougat with EMUI 5.0. 

Inside the update, you’ll find the typical Nougat features – multi-window support, better notifications, instant replies, an enhanced UI, plus all of the changes that are included with EMUI 5.0. And let me tell you, those changes are very good. EMUI 5.0 essentially takes EMUI from being ugly and unusable, to a somewhat vanilla-esque look for Android that includes an app drawer. Good job, Huawei and Honor.

The update will begin rolling out to owners worldwide today, with all devices scheduled to be running Nougat by mid to late-May.
