Sprint Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge Receiving Nougat Update

Owners of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on Sprint are reporting that Nougat is hitting their devices, making this a great week for the Android Distribution chart. I mean, gosh, Nougat might even hit 7% by next month. 

According to users, Galaxy S6 owners should have an eye out for build G920PVPU4DQC7, while S6 Edge owners will want G925PVPU4DQC7. If you are notified of the update, be sure to have a bit of room on your device, as the update weighs in at over 1GB. That’s hefty, hefty, hefty.

Now, if you were an early adopter of the Galaxy S6, I’d like to remind you that you’ve had that phone for about two years. It’s time to upgrade. Go check out a Galaxy S8 in-store this weekend. You’ll likely be blown away.
