Pre-registration for Super Mario Run for Android users has been up since December on Google Play, but we never heard a solid timeframe from Nintendo on when the game would launch. Well, that has now changed, with Nintendo tweeting that Android users can expect to see it in March, 2017.
If you have somehow missed the news, maybe because you are too caught up in news about the new Power Rangers movie or Rogue One hype still, Super Mario Run is a platform-like continuous runner that features Mario and his whole crew. Essentially, as Mario runs through a level, the player controls his jumps and collects coins, but doesn’t control his running. Because of that mechanic, I liken the game to Temple Run, but there’s plenty of people who would disagree with me.
We got a bit to go before March, so hang in there, Android users. Pray the game hasn’t lost all of its appeal before then.
Android版「Super Mario Run」は、2017年3月に配信を開始します。現在Google Playでは、配信開始を通知でお知らせする事前登録の受付を行っています。ぜひご登録ください。https://t.co/2DW2TnCK6d pic.twitter.com/2QbMM6fGRh
