A new pinch-to-zoom feature is headed for Instagram, available now for iOS devices. Naturally, Android device owners will need to stay patient, as Instagram states the feature will come for us in the “coming weeks.”
Once live, users simply need to pinch on a photo to zoom into it, allowing you to get a closer look at whatever the photo is of. It’s certainly not groundbreaking, but may prove itself worthy once made available for everyone. Stated by Instagram, “Starting today, you can pinch to zoom on photos and videos in feed, on profiles and on Explore. Dive into an adorable puppy’s smile or into every detail of your friend’s new shirt.”
If you have an iPhone or other iOS device, go check it out. If you rock Android, like a cool kid, hang in there. Once the update rolls out, we will let you know when it’s available.
