Android Wear M1D63G Update Rolling Out to Numerous Devices

The Android Wear platform is getting a new update to build M1D63G that includes July security patches. As of right now, we aren’t sure if any new features are included, but we do know that a number of devices have started receiving the update within the past week. 

Two of our readers noticed the update yesterday on the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) and a Google search of that build number returns results with owners of the LG G Watch R, Watch Urbane, and Sony Smartwatch 3 receiving it as well.

If you own an Android Wear devices, feel free to pop into Settings>About and tap that “System updates” option.

As we learn more, we’ll do our best to update this post.
