It’s time to stack up the OnePlus 3 against the rest of 2016’s flagship devices. The following comparison features the OnePlus 3, going up against the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, LG G5, HTC 10, Moto Z, and Moto Z Force. Keep in mind, pricing has not yet been revealed for the Moto Z or Moto Z Force.
On paper, the OnePlus 3 is a dream phone, especially with a price of $399 unlocked. Featuring a Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, fingerprint reader, and 16MP rear-facing camera, there is no doubt that many people will attempt to pick this device up.
I mentioned this earlier and I will stick to it, but the OnePlus 3 lacks a billboard feature. Is the low price the best feature of the phone? All of the other devices listed below feature some type of differentiation between themselves. The Moto Z has Moto Mods, the LG G5 has its modularity, the Galaxy S7 has a IP68 rating, and the HTC 10 has its impressive design and speaker quality. At least to me, the OP3 is missing that “wow” factor. It’s possible that not all smartphones need a wow factor, though. Maybe they just need to work and be affordable. That seems fine, too.
Look over the specs, then share your take below.
