This morning, Starbucks announced a pretty major partnership with Spotify, one that will get more users into Spotify, but will also satisfy music curiosity needs of its regular customers.
In the new Starbucks app, customers will be able to see what songs are currently playing in stores, see others that have been recently played, quickly create Starbucks-related playlists of the tunes just heard, checkout curated lists from Starbucks, checkout feature artists, and tell the Starbucks music team how much they “love” them.
The experience of Starbucks and Spotify begins today at over 7,500 Starbucks stores.
