US Cellular Offers 6GB Data for $40 in New Promo

To kick off the new year, US Cellular has launched a new promo that gets you 6GB of data for just $40. They are also offering up to $300 in credit for those who switch and other discounts on monthly device connection charges.

The 6GB for $40 is pretty straight forward from what I can tell. At $40, US Cellular is $20 cheaper than Verizon, so that’s something. 

As for the $300 credit, we are looking at a $150 promotional card at the point of sale, followed by another $150 promo card that is mailed later, for those who are new, port a number over, and trade in a phone.

Finally, if you add on a tablet, US Cellular is cutting the connection charge in half, so you would only pay $5 per month.

CHICAGO (Jan. 8, 2016) – New and current U.S. Cellular customers will have another reason to celebrate the new year by taking advantage of the latest deals the national wireless carrier launched today. Beginning today in stores and online, customers can receive 6 GB of data for only $40 per month, and all new lines of service are eligible for a $150 promotional card at the point of sale. Customers who port in their number and trade in their device will receive an additional $150 promotional card by mail.

U.S. Cellular is also offering 50 percent off the monthly device connection charges on select connected devices. With this discount, tablets can be added to a Shared Connect plan for only $5 per month, Home Phone for $10 per month, and the Router + Home Phone for $15 per month, making it easy to share data on multiple devices. This provides more ways to stay connected to people who matter most and access important information quickly and easily.

In addition to the deals mentioned above, if a current customer refers a friend to U.S. Cellular, and the friend chooses to activate a smartphone on a Shared Connect plan, they both will receive $50.
