Android 5.1 Available to All With a Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure Edition

According to Motorola’s David Schuster, master of the update on updates, “full deployment” of Android 5.1 to the US Moto X (2nd gen) “Pure Edition” has begun.

The update is available to those on builds 22.21.11.victara_tmo.tmo.en.US and 23.11.14.victara_tmo.tmo.en.US. For those of us on that really early build of 23.1.28, well, who knows if we’ll ever see an update. 

To grab the update, head into Settings>About phone and hammer on that “System updates” button.
