Google Search Results Will Now Show Related Apps With Relevant Content That Aren’t Installed on Your Phone

Soon, when you search Google for something, the search results will include related apps to your search whether you have them installed or not. Up until today, you may have seen apps show up in search results as having related content, but only if they were already installed on your phone. Thanks to Google’s expanding app indexing of content, search results are now smart enough to find apps that have the info you want even if they aren’t on your phone. 

These search results of apps you don’t have installed will now include “install” buttons as well, which will help you and I get right to the content we need, but it should also help drive new users to apps.
