We are back with 3 more game recommendations we feel all of you lovely people should check out. If you happen to use your smartphone for gaming, like most people do, then there should be something in here for everyone.
Today, we are looking at LIMBO, AdVenture Capitalist, and Hellraid: The Escape. One is a very popular, award-winning platformer, the other an addictive title perfect for bathroom breaks, and the last is an escape game.
Without further ado, let’s get right to it.
LIMBO
As an award-winning platformer, LIMBO has made headlines all across the web. Being available on multiple platforms, there is little chance you have not heard of the game, as its success is completely justified once you experience it.
In LIMBO, you play as a small boy who is trapped in a dark, cold world. Searching for his sister, you must overcome your fear of spiders, heights, and pointy things that wish to harm you if you are to make it out of limbo alive. Based entirely on puzzles, some of which are very challenging (I’m currently stuck on one), you must master simple machines and time your jumps just right to overcome the game’s obstacles.
Priced at $4.99, this game may be a bit steep for a few of you, but I think it is worth every penny if you would only skip a day or two of Mocha Frappucinos from Starbucks.

AdVenture Capitalist
Given that this game is free on Google Play, “owning” AdVenture Capitalist is very easy. In the addictive title, you start building an empire from just lemonade stands, but if you play your cards right, you will be running multiple oil fields worth trillions of dollars in no time at all.
I have been playing this game on and off for the past couple of days, and my main joy is that there is not much work to be done. As you level up (aka get more money), you hire managers to do all of the work for you. Basically, the main goal is to upgrade all of your businesses to pay out as much as possible. However, there is no cap to how much you can make. Although, if you have quintillions (more or less) of dollars, you can reset the game to receive Angel Investors. With these creatures, your profits are tripled and the cycle is repeated until you are sick of the game.
If you enjoy these types of strategy games, where it’s all about the Benjamins, then give it a shot.

Hellraid: The Escape
For fans of Escape the Room games, Hellraid: The Escape is a great mashup of those previously mentioned titles, plus another franchise known as The Room. Using your surroundings, your goal is escape Hell, basically, and there are mini puzzles within each level.
Of course, Hellspawn is out to get you, and if they do, your soul is sent back to the beginning of the level. But don’t worry, you have unlimited lives. It is the type of game you won’t beat on the first try, and you will need to do a little better each time, slowly progressing through.
The graphics for a mobile game are quite good, and the ambient noises you will hear are enough to give any small child nightmares. Priced at under $3, this is one of my most enjoyed escape games.
