Check Out Wear Charging Widget for Android Wear Smartwatches

If you wanted to spruce up your Android Wear smartwatch’s charging screen, then you will want to check out an app called Wear Charging Widget on Google Play. With this app installed on your app and phone, users can place a weather ‘widget’ right on the charging screen, and a bit more. 

In addition to just seeing the weather on the charging screen, you can change the clock’s mode (12h/24h), select a mode for the date shown, get notifications for when your watch is fully charged, and change the brightness of the watch while in dim mode.

The app is easy to set up, and is also free to use. There are IAPs for the app, but only for different levels of donations, which you can make to the developer if you choose to.

If you need more usefulness out of your watch while it is charging, it’s a good app to have.
