Teased as a follow up device to last year’s Galaxy Mega 5.8, Samsung’s newest Galaxy Mega 2 has finally been made official this week, packing a big screen and a few not-so-big specifications.
To start it off, the Galaxy Mega 2 features a 6″ HD display (1280 x 720), quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz (most likely an Exynos chipset), 1.5GB of RAM, 8MP rear-facing shooter, 2.1MP front-facing shooter, 16GB of internal memory (expandable with microSD), and runs Android 4.4 with Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz software on top.
As for if and when the device might be made available in the States, AT&T did have the original Galaxy Mega hit its network last year, but there is no official word yet if the Galaxy Mega 2 will hit our shores.
If it does come to the US, would you be ready to pack a 6″ device in your pocket?
