A system dump for the G Watch from LG has hit the web, showing off an incredibly fancy Android boot animation. We have yet to dig into the dump ourselves, but the Twitter account @UpLeaks was kind enough to upload the dump for anyone to sift through.
System dumps don’t usually provide too much, but they do offer a look at what apks could come installed on the device, and sometimes they offer a few wallpapers from the manufacturer.
So far, the only thing of interest is the boot animation. We have posted it below for your viewing pleasure.

Update: We are digging through the dump now, so we will update this post as we have more. For now, here are the clock faces that will come stock on the device.
Update 2: For some reason, the G Watch says “Powered by Google” all over, instead of “Powered by Android.”
Update 3: Here are some of the cards that will appear for Google Now items, like birthdays, package deliveries, traffic, weather, places, stocks, etc.
Update 4: Here is the build.prop – codename “dory” and product name “platina.”

Update 5: We are about done combing through the G Watch dump, but wanted to point out that there is a remote shutter .apk, which I would assume means there will be a way to remotely snap a picture with the G Watch connected to your phone. There are also mentions of a step counter, potential calorie counter, and a compass app. It definitely doesn’t look bloated the way that Samsung bloated out its Gear devices. The list of .apk files is relatively small. This watch appears to be all about Google Now functionality, but with a few added features thrown in for good measure.
