T-Mobile Galaxy S5 Receiving Update to Fix SMS/MMS Failure Issue

T-Mobile’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is receiving a new update starting today, to address an issue that was causing SMS/MMS messages to fail. The new update brings the phone to build G900TUVU1ANE5.

The exact wording for the update is “Intermittently incoming SMS/MMS failure.” If you were experiencing texting issues on your GS5 through T-Mobile, you will want to grab this update as soon as possible.

To check for the update, head into Settings>General>About>Software update.
