Sony to Bring Android 4.4.2 to Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z in May

To show good faith, and that they haven’t forgotten about their loyal customers, the Sony team has updated its product pages, detailing the next version of Android which is to hit select Xperia devices in May. So far, the list is pretty solid, with the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, and Xperia Tablet Z slated for the update. 

Each device is marked as receiving the update in May, but who knows if owners should expect that in the beginning or ending portion of the month. Much like all other updates, we would be keen to expect an update near the end of the month, but Sony may surprise us.
