Rumors of a Galaxy S5 Zoom from Samsung have been popping up here and there, with reported specs for the device already leaked. What we had yet to see is an actual look at the device, and thanks to the most recent leak, we can check that off of our list.
All we have is a single picture from what appears to be some type of Samsung fan site, but at least the photo is in focus. We can’t be thrilled enough to see an in-focus leaked photo. From a look at the image, it appears that Samsung is attempting to cut back on the size of the Zoom line, throwing more mechanical work of the camera into the body of the phone itself.
If you will recall, the Galaxy S4 Zoom was somewhat bulky, with its 16MP sensor and 10x optical zoom sitting on the outside of body. This device appears to be much more flush.
Specs attributed to this device appear to be good, coming with a 20MP sensor, 10x optical zoom, 4.8″ HD display, Exynos 5 Hexa processor, 2GB of RAM, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and will come running Android 4.4.2 with Samsung’s newly revamped TouchWiz UI on top.
What are your thoughts on the design? Could be worse, right?
