On the eve of the Nexus 5 and Kit Kat announcement, four gentlemen gathered this past Wednesday on Google+ for a night of discussion surrounding Android, Google, and corn dog nipple stroking. It was a night we will never forget.

On episode 40 of the Droid Life Show, we went over our last thoughts on what to expect from the now-announced Nexus 5 and Kit Kat, plus went over why Ron was actually completely right about Google’s own take on its Nexus program. There was no event, there was no hype. Google simply released the device and let the public do the rest. It was interesting and was the last thing we thought the company would do for a major release of Android and a brand new Nexus device. Sorry we ever doubted you, Ron.
