If anyone remembers the tablet/gaming controller hybrid device called the Wikipad, you might recall that the device has seen release day delays dating back to last year. Back in October of 2012, the Wikipad was set to go on sale at retailers such as GameStop for a whopping $500, that was until the company decided to halt everything and come up with a new strategy.
Since then, they have dropped the price by 50% to $250 and are back to launch the device on June 11, the first day of this year’s E3 gaming event. The tablet comes running Jelly Bean Android 4.1 (not a typo), powered by a Tegra 3 (three, yes, not a typo), 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD storage and 7″ 1280 x 800 display.
This should be fun.
