Google recently launched a new subscription option for Play Pass, which is a yearly payment option, cutting 50% off the cost of the service. Instead of $5/month, folks can now pay $30/year for a curated list of ad-free and in-app purchase-free apps and games, saving themselves $30 annually.
It’s the first bit of news we’ve shared about Play Pass since it launched, which got us thinking: Do you even Play Pass, bro?
Play Pass includes hundreds of titles from Google Play, including plenty of top-tier gaming titles like LIMBO, Star Wars: KOTOR, Stardew Valley, and Monument Valley 2. These are great games, all playable with no ads and no IAPs with Play Pass. While there is plenty of value to discuss, it’s hard to gauge if people even use it. So, let’s find out.
Do you subscribe to Play Pass? If so, why? If not, how come?
