Disney+ Gets “Continued Watching” Section!

Disney Plus Continued Watching

Disney+ has so far been an excellent streaming subscription service, mostly because of the library of content that Disney made available at launch. It’s not perfect, though. Discovery and recommendations need to be better, we need even more original content, and some of the controls that seem like really obvious omissions (a “start from beginning” button) are missing. We also needed a section that would let us continue watching shows or movies we had previously started. Thankfully, Disney listened and we at least got that.

The new section is rolling out already and so you don’t need to do anything but login. Once you do, just under the bigger banner suggestions at the top, then categories and Originals, you should see a “Continue Watching” area that lists out all of the shows you have started watching. A simple tap or click on those will pick-up right where you last left off.

Hooray!

If you haven’t signed-up for Disney+ yet, I think it’s safe to say that you might be missing out. Even if you don’t care that much about re-watching older movies and shows, The Mandalorian is probably worth the $7 per month. I also think you’ll be surprised at the depth of the collection available and probably won’t realize how many movies Disney is/was behind.

Verizon customers, you can still get Disney+ for free. The rest of you, sign-up here.
