As one of the lonely Wear OS fans who has never taken a liking to Samsung’s Tizen OS and Galaxy Watch or Gear lines, I have a confession to make today – I like the Galaxy Watch Active 2. I like it a lot, actually. I’ll share more on those thoughts in the coming days, but I first wanted to point out that it has been discounted for the first time in a pre-Black Friday deal through Best Buy.
Right now, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in both 40mm and 44mm sizes is $50 off. With that discount, you get a starting price of $229 and $249, respectively. Even the Under Armour version is $50 off and down to $279. If you are at all aware of the prices that other top-end smartwatches fetch, then you know that those prices are pretty incredible.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 provides Samsung’s cleanest, best performing OS to date, the hardware is beautiful for once, the display is incredible for a smartwatch, and battery life is quite close to a full 2-days. Outside of not having Google Fit integration, I really don’t have many complaints about this watch after wearing it in secrecy for the past couple of weeks.
If you are on Android and want a smartwatch, this is the one to get and these are the best prices ever for one.
