The end appears to have arrived for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. This week, OnePlus is beginning to ship the last security update the phones will likely receive, marking the end for three years of software support.
The update rolling out includes the October security patch, updated GMS apps, and general bug fixes and improvements.
Posted last year, OnePlus made us well aware that the end would eventually come for the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
As per the OnePlus Software Maintenance Schedule, OnePlus 3 and 3T will be getting regular OTA updates till November of 2018 and 1 year of extended Android security patches.
If you still rock the 3 or 3T, then maybe it’s time to upgrade? OnePlus is running a killer deal on the OnePlus 7 Pro right now. I recommend it.
