There may or may not be a new SHIELD TV on the way. With that being said, if you love your current SHIELD TV and don’t plan on upgrading, and you happen to need an extra SHIELD Controller for your current Android TV-powered set-top box, GameStop is selling the controller for just $9.
These are the same controllers currently priced at $60 on Amazon, so, yeah, you should probably go ahead and pick one up.
I have been tracking this listing on GameStop for a couple of weeks now, because the last time they were in stock, they sold out fast. It appears that they received a fresh shipment in this morning, so if you’re interested, I wouldn’t hesitate.
