Because Android 10 has a dark theme built-in and Google is making a big deal out of turning its apps from white to dark, they’ve taken to the Android Instagram account to hype all of the darkness that is coming to apps. The thing is, they showed off Google Maps flipping to a dark theme, which is cool, except Google Maps doesn’t actually have a dark theme yet. So yeah, that’s a whoops.
