Verizon 5G expanded this morning to three new cities: New York, Boise, and Panama City. We knew NYC was getting the green light, after a brief tease from Verizon last week, but Boise, ID and Panama City, FL are completely new to the scene.
Where will you find 5G in those cities? According to Verizon, you’ll find 5G in the following areas:
Boise, ID:
5G Ultra Wideband service will be concentrated in parts of the following neighborhoods, Downtown Boise, West End, West Boise, Meridian, Boise Junction around such landmarks as Idaho State Capitol, St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center, Fort Boise Park, Capital City Event Center and Boise Town Square.
- Downtown Boise
- West End
- West Boise
- Meridian
- Boise Junction
New York, NY:
5G Ultra Wideband service will be concentrated in parts of the following neighborhoods:
- Midtown
- Financial District
- Harlem
- East Harlem
- Hell’s Kitchen
- Washington Heights
- Downtown Brooklyn
This includes coverage outside landmarks such as Bryant Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, MSG, Trinity Park (Brooklyn), the Lincoln Tunnel (Manhattan Entrance), Javitz Center on 11th Ave between 36th and 37th, the Theatre District on Broadway between 49th and 52nd, and in the Bronx (Pelham Bay, Fordham Heights, and Hunt’s Point).
Panama City, FL:
5G Ultra Wideband service will be concentrated in parts of the following neighborhoods, Downtown, Forest Park, and Lower Grand Lagoon.
- Downtown

- Lower Grand Lagoon
If you live in one of those three cities and own a Verizon 5G phone, like the Note 10+ 5G or LG V50 ThinQ, have fun.
