The weeks and weeks of Tweet teases are now over – OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 7T.
For this late-2019 “T” release, OnePlus is basically upgrading both the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7. We’re getting a phone that matches the OnePlus 7 Pro in a number of ways, with a price that’s not much of a jump from last year.

REVIEW: OnePlus 7T
The OnePlus 7T sports a 6.55″ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a full HD resolution, Snapdragon 855+ processor, and 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 3.0 storage. All of that is joined by an in-display fingerprint reader, 3800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging (23% quicker than Warp Charge 30), stereo speakers, and Android 10 with OxygenOS 10. That’s right, the 7T has Android 10 out of the box.
The display not only has the improved 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing throughout, OnePlus raised brightness up to 1,000 nits, added an internal luminescent material to block 40% of blue light, included HDR10+ support, and brought full-color support to Reading Mode.
You’ll find a new triple camera setup on the back housed in a circular puck design that brings standard (48MP), telephoto (12MP), and ultra wide angle (16MP, 117-degree field of view) lenses. Those cameras offer you the flexibility to take and master almost any shot, plus OnePlus tossed in this really sweet new macro mode that lets you get 2.5cm away from an object for capturing those super-close-ups.
OnePlus says they improved the haptic engine, further improved the algorithm for their in-display fingerprint readers, has more than 370 optimizations and improvements on top of Android 10, and will let you turn on Zen Mode for up to an hour.
The body of the OnePlus 7T has been wrapped in matte-frosted glass that comes in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue.
If you want to buy a OnePlus 7T, you’ll be able to do so on October 18 for $599 at OnePlus’ store and T-Mobile. At that price, you get 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is a 256GB model in other countries, you just won’t find it in the US.
