Android 10 was scheduled to drop today and the update is now live for Pixel devices! If you own a Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, or Pixel 3a XL, your time has come.
- UPDATE 9/3: The over-the-air update is live! If you are on the last Android Q Beta 6, the update might only be 5.5MB. If you are coming from Android 9 Pie, it could be over 1GB.
- UPDATE 9/23: Google added another build today as QP1A.190711.020.C3. They didn’t say who the build is for or if it fixes something critical, but that build is available for the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, as well as the Pixel 3 and 3 XL.
The over-the-air update of Android 10 should begin rolling out any minute at some point today if not any minute. To check for the update, head into Settings>System>Advanced>System update.
For builds, we have two for all devices and they are: QP1A.190711.019 and QP1A.190711.020. This new Android 10 stable has the September security patch.
If you don’t feel like waiting, you can grab the update and flash it through adb. You will find each image or OTA file at the links below. For instructions on how to flash a factory image, here you go. For instructions on how to flash an OTA .zip file, here you go.
