Samsung’s Game Launcher app/service is getting its Discord integration this week, the same integration that was showcased at the Galaxy Note 10 launch event.
To sum it up quickly, you can now tie your Discord account into Samsung’s Game Launcher, granting quick access to voice chats with friends, plus you’ll also be able to see what mobile games your friends are playing and vice versa.
People can now use Galaxy Note10 and 10+ along with Discord to connect effortlessly with friends who play games across multiple platforms and devices. This functionality integrated into the Game Launcher will allow users playing games on Galaxy smartphones see their Discord friend’s mobile gaming status, making it easier to know when and what their friends are playing. There will also be the option to instantly join friends’ voice chat using the Discord overlay – a feature exclusive to this Discord/Samsung partnership.
For now, this integration is exclusive to the Galaxy Note 10 lineup, but additional Galaxy devices will receive it in the coming months.
If you want to sync your accounts, head into the Game Launcher app on your Note 10, then you should see a Discord icon near the top right. Log into Discord and you’re good to go.
