OnePlus is doing its usual hype for an upcoming product, but instead of it being for a smartphone, it’s that OnePlus TV that’s supposed to launch pretty soon, first in India and then in other markets.
On Amazon India, OnePlus already has a landing page dedicated to the product, detailing a 55″ QLED screen with Dolby Vision and 8 speakers at 50W output with Dolby Atmos. Thanks to previous info provided, we also expect it to be powered by Android TV and get at least 3 years of Android TV updates.
There’s still no word on pricing, but if OnePlus sticks to its OnePlus roots, then there’s no way this unit costs over $1,000 when it hits US soil. There are similar sets to this already available, such as ones from Hisense, and those are priced at $399.
Anyone here really hyped for OnePlus TV?
