All the way back in July, Google let it slip on a support page that the Nest Hub Max would launch September 9. It seemed pretty official, but because Google removed that date and went back to stating the smart display was “coming soon,” we’ve just been waiting to see what happens with it.
Today on the Google Store, we noticed that the same September 9 date is sitting right on the upcoming device’s listing page, so that date seems pretty official right now.
For those who didn’t catch all of the Google I/O happenings, Nest Hub Max is a Nest Hub, but it’s larger and sports a built-in Nest Cam. When launched, it should support Face Match for Google Assistant, plus also offer an improved audio experience.
Nest Hub Max is priced at $229. We’ll let you know when you can buy one.
