The OnePlus 7 Pro doesn’t feel at all like it’s an old enough device to see a replacement, but that’s apparently about to happen with a OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. According to a new leak, both could be announced in late September and we might now know specs for one of them.
Regular leaker of OnePlus products, Ishan Agarwal, posted early this morning that he believes the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro could launch on September 26 in India. Since OnePlus tends to make major phone announcements on a global scale, penciling in the US and Europe for that date would make quite a bit of sense too. We also know that OnePlus plans to announce their OnePlus TV next month, so yeah, September sounds reasonable.
We get specs for the OnePlus 7T in this leak, specs that paint the picture of a top-tier beast that could rival the OnePlus 7 Pro you just bought. Agarwal says to expect a 6.55″ 2K AMOLED display with small notch and 90Hz refresh rate in the 7T. Along with that impressive-sounding display, we could see storage options of 128GB and 256GB, 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 855+ processor, 3800mAh battery, and a triple camera. The triple camera, which should be housed in a circular puck, will sport 48MP, 16MP, and 12MP cameras.
We don’t know pricing or full 7T Pro details just yet, but they should be here soon enough.
