According to TechRadar, the Mate X from Huawei has been delayed yet again, after a delay that took place in June that reportedly pushed the launch to September. Should the recent delay news be accurate, it’s now looking like launch won’t take place before November.
While there is no official word yet from Huawei as to when we can expect Mate X to hit the market, it’s reported that Huawei is confident that it can launch the device before year’s end.
The reasoning behind the delays seem to be the same, that being more attempts at improving the design and ensuring that the device doesn’t have similar issues to the Galaxy Fold from Samsung. And while delays suck, that’s probably a safe move on Huawei’s part.
We shall continue to keep you posted on all of the important foldable news.
