Ready for what should be the final Android Q Beta? Android Q Beta 6 is here as we get even closer to the final, stable release of Android Q later in Q3 (possibly this month).
Like previous Q betas, we have new builds for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL. The new build arrives as QPP6.190730.005.
Android Q Beta 6
Date: August 2019
Build: QPP6.190730.005
Emulator support: x86 (32/64-bit)
Security patch level: August 2019
Google Play services: 17.7.86
If you’d like to test or load this onto your supported Pixel device in the easiest way possible, head over to the Android Beta site and sign-up. Once the update is made available there, you’ll get it as a system over-the-air (OTA) update, just like you would any other update. It should be live shortly.
If you’d like to manually flash the files instead of waiting for the over-the-air update, you can download the Beta 6 images right here. Instructions on how to flash a factory image can be found here.
We’ll update this post once we have more!
