A Pixel 2 XL at $10/mo is this week’s best smartphone deal.
For this week’s round-up of the best smartphone deals, we’ve got a big price drop on the Pixel 2 XL from Verizon, a couple of solid BOGO deals on the Galaxy S10 family, and a sweetened Pixel 3a package from Best Buy.
Verizon Pixel 2 XL is $10/mo
The Pixel 2 XL might be over a year old at this point, but it’s still a solid phone with an incredible camera that will get a ton of software updates. It’s also the favorite Google phone of DL readers (our review).
At Verizon, you can buy one for just $10/mo, which is a discount of $609. The full price is $849.99, but Verizon will give you bill credits for 24 months to bring the payment down to $10/mo. No trade-ins are required.
BOGO Galaxy S10 deals
Samsung’s Galaxy S10 line is always involved in some sort of deal. At the moment, both Verizon and T-Mobile are running BOGO (buy one, get one) deals that will get you a free phone or a heavy discount on another.
Verizon’s BOGO deal involves buying a Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, or S10 5G on a payment plan. They’ll then give you $750 off a second S10 family member if you add a new line with another payment plan.
T-Mobile’s BOGO deal is similar. You buy a Galaxy S10 or S10+ and they’ll toss in a second S10 or S10+ as long as you add a line. Both phones will need to be on payment plans and you’ll get 24 months worth of bill credits to cover costs, just like at Verizon.
Pixel 3a is up to $100 off + free Google Home Mini
I know that we featured this Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL $100-off deal last week, but Best Buy sweetened it up with a freebie. If you activate a 3a or 3a XL, they’ll slash up to $100 off and give you a Google Home Mini as a bonus.
It’ll take a Sprint activation to get $100 off, while AT&T and Verizon activations are $50 off. That still drops the Pixel 3a to $299 or $349, and the Pixel 3a XL to $379 or $429.
