OnePlus 7 Pro Display is HDR10+ Certified, Which Means Better Viewing Experiences

OnePlus can’t seem to ever wait for official launch days to share details for its upcoming devices, and of course, the OnePlus 7 Pro is no different. Today, OnePlus announced that the display found in the OnePlus 7 Pro is certified for HDR10+, which means an overall better viewing experience on your phone for videos, games, and other assorted content.

As OnePlus puts it, HDR10+ produces a higher peak brightness, up to 4,000 nits, as well as provides frame-by-frame adjustments for exceptional contrast levels.

HDR10+ provides frame-by-frame adjustments for the optimum representation of contrast from the HDR source content. HDR10+ also produces 4000 nits of peak brightness, a massive raise of 3,000 nits compared to HDR10. Being an open format, it’s license and royalty free and therefore easily adoptable by manufacturers and content producers with quality maintained through a HDR10+ certification and logo program.

This may be a good time to remind you that we’ve already learned from DisplayMate that the OnePlus 7 Pro has received an A+ rating for its display. Apparently, the display is insanely good, so we’re getting a little impatient for May 14 to come around.
