T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9 Receiving Pie Update

Pie is now rolling out Galaxy Note 9 owners on T-Mobile! Once rollout is complete, that only leaves Verizon and unlocked models still to be updated to Android 9.0.

In addition to the Pie update, T-Mobile lists a new 911 call flow, a compass calibration fix, as well as a “BYOD update.” Interestingly, T-Mobile lists that this Pie update “will not be available to all customers right away.” We assume this means it will be an incremental update so T-Mobile can monitor the update’s performance, so fingers crossed all goes smoothly.

This update weighs in at 1671MB. It’s a big one.
